What we collect, and why
When you sign in. Your name, email address and Google account ID, from the openid, email and profile permissions. We use them only to check that the owner has added you, and to show who is signed in.
When a channel owner connects a YouTube channel. Read-only access through three Google permissions: youtube.readonly, yt-analytics.readonly and yt-analytics-monetary.readonly. With them we read the channel's name and video list, its daily views, watch time and subscribers, and its estimated revenue. We use this only to work out what each channel and video earns against what it costs to make.
We never upload, change, delete or comment on anything on YouTube. The access is read-only, so Google would refuse it anyway.
Who can see it
- Only people the owner has added can sign in and see the numbers.
- We do not sell this data, share it with advertisers, or use it for advertising.
- If the owner turns on the AI assistant, a question and the numbers needed to answer it are sent to the AI company the owner chose (OpenAI or Anthropic) through its API. Those companies' API terms say they do not train their models on it. With no AI key saved, the assistant answers on the server and sends nothing out.
- If the owner turns on report email, reports go only to the addresses the owner enters.
- Our use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
How it is kept
- On a private server, reached only over HTTPS.
- Google sign-in tokens are stored encrypted.
- One cookie keeps you signed in. There are no tracking or advertising cookies.
- Pages load their fonts from Google Fonts, so your browser contacts Google for them.
Removing access and deleting data
- A channel can be disconnected at any time on the dashboard's Connections page.
- You can also remove the dashboard's access yourself at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
- To have a channel's stored data deleted, email lanoplimited@gmail.com. We delete it within 30 days.
YouTube
YT Dashboard uses YouTube API Services. By connecting a channel you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service, and Google's handling of your data is covered by the Google Privacy Policy.
